We depart from The Cafe Racer Restaurant in Strand (43 Wesley Street, Strand Central) and our route takes us over the winding Sir Lowry’s Pass, through the Elgin Valley and over the exhilarating Houw Hoek Pass all the way down to the stunning little coastal town of Hermanus.
After launch in Hermanus and maybe spotting a whale or two (in season), we head back to Strand along the Scenic coastal route. We pass through the town of Kleinmond and head towards Betty’s Bay where we stop at the Stony Point Nature Reserve – which is home to one of the largest successful breeding colonies of African Penguin in the world.
We then continue our journey along the one of the most picturesque coastal roads in the world being Clarens Drive , as we head back to Gordon’s Bay and end in Strand at The Cafe Racer Restaurant.
Be sure to bring your camera/Go-Pro as we will be riding in one of the most beautiful areas of the Western Cape with many opportunities to take some great photographs.
R 2750.00 per person
Length of Ride: The ride takes approximately 8 hours from the time we leave Strand until the time we return, depending on various factors such as traffic, time spent at stops and our lunch in Hermanus.
PLEASE BE AWARE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO READ THE FOLLOWING!
We ride Harley Davidsons – not super bikes. We don’t care about speed – we love to cruise, we enjoy the scenery, we stop along the way, we chat, we laugh and drink a lot of good coffee. So please bare with us riders (even though we look a bit strange sometimes), we are quite a special bunch of really cool people, and most of all, we love sharing our Harley Davidson experience with people!
